An Amalfi Coast Must~
The South of Italy~
La Minervetta Maison, a boutique hotel in Sorrento, Italy has been a source of my inspiration for years. Last year my parents stayed there and absolutely loved it. With a decorating style not for the faint hearted it draws its inspiration from fishing villages and all things nautical. Perched precariously on the cliffs of Sorrento along the Amalfi Coast, Maison La Minervetta hotel showcases spectacular sea views. Each of the 12 nautical rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, and any of the three terraces make an ideal spot for sipping a Limoncello and taking in the spectacular Bay of Naples vistas. I've been told that every one of their rooms is gorgeous and very reasonably priced. Book early; this place is deservedly popular . If you're traveling to the South of Italy this hotel is a must see!
La Minervetta is just outside town, away from the summer crowds but only 10-15 minutes walk from its bustling restaurants, bars, shops and harbor. You're also within easy reach of Capri, Positano, Amalfi and even Naples, while Pompeii and Vesuvius are fascinating local landmarks that should also be visited.
Location~ La Minervetta is in Sorrento, the largest town on the Amalfi peninsula. It is at the southern end of the Bay of Naples, in southern Italy.
