Airstream Interiors
This is how They Roll~
In the late 1920s, Airstream’s founder Wallace (Wally) Merle Byam created a travel trailer in his backyard to satisfy his wife’s refusal to camp without her kitchen and her dislike of sleeping on the ground. Their travels with this trailer generated such interest that Wally began building these trailers in his backyard, which led to selling plans in the back of magazines and eventually in 1932 he founded the Airstream Trailer Company. They've come a long way! Look at these stunningly restored Airstreams. This is my kind of camping!
~You have to see the new Tommy Bahama 2017 Airstream. Although I do prefer vintage Airstreams, it's amazing to see how high tech the newer ones are.~Here is a very hip and cool Airstream lodging boutiquey style hotel in Ojai, California. Caravan Outpost. Their airstreams are meticulously tended to with beautiful linens and a shop with clothes, wine, food, records...you name it! Check out their calendar in advance as they have yoga, live music, under the star movie nights, barbecues and seasonal celebrations. It's always been a dream of mine to set one up as a 'guest room'. I might start looking for one!
