Super Cute DIY Aussie Renovation

These people actually have more plants in their home than I do! This home was originally a workman's cottage from about 1910 and it sits on an acre of land in the Brisbane suburb of Red Hill in Australia. After getting a bid from an architect of $500,000 to renovate, the young couple decided to move into the home and do its themselves. The husband obtained an Owner-Builder Certificate and his wife went to school to study interior design. It took 5 years, but it was well worth it!
