Choosing to steer clear of a completely modern slate, historical character is something I tend to hold onto.
I’m known to use muted tones with pops of color, bamboo, sea grass, rattan, and reclaimed wood with cement, glass, stone, and metal. And we can’t forget layered rich textiles and plants… always more plants.
I love blending elements of nature with hints of modernity that retain character — resulting in a beautiful marriage of indoor and outdoor ingredients.
