Mike Ternosky's Echo Park Home

Urban Living in Echo Park

This family bungalow was built in 1907 by the first literary editor at the Los Angeles Times. Today, Mike Ternosky (the head designer at Obey) his wife & their two kiddos call it home. They did an insane job redoing this special home which was inspired by their eclectic, multicultural scope and urban lifestyle. Using materials such as unpainted brass, white leather, marble and dark wood really make the house feel warm and hip at the same time. The couple's creative mind and cultural references are also reflected in the interiors. It's apparent that this couple work very well together in meshing their artistic ideas.
