Before & Afters of an LA Designer's Home (w/ an IKEA kitchen)

This is the home of Sarah Sherman Samuel, a Los Angeles based Designer, Art Director, and Content Creator. She is a color & pattern expert and is known for effortlessly combining styles to create distinctive spaces. Look at what a fabulous home she created for her and her family....

Sarah used Semihandmade doors & drawer fronts that were custom made to fit Ikea cabinets, you can read more about the process here. 

When this house was bought, the room below only had a tiny doorway entrance which they opened up to a 6-foot wide archway to create a flow from the living room to the family room. They also switched the windows out for french doors which brings in so much more light. They painted, installed the built-in shelving, ripped out the carpet and installed hardwoods to match the rest of the house.
