I was too indecisive and ended up with white cabinets and a black island with marble that was not honed. That was a mistake I will not make again as the marble was a nightmare to maintain. The picture is below: Currently, I'm designing my new kitchen which is stark white and modern. A complete change from my old kitchen above. I will post pictures as soon as I've completed the project.
