The kitchen space features blacked out custom cabinetry with a black kitchen island that allows for seating and serving. (5): I did tons of research a few years ago when I designed my kitchen. I was too indecisive and ended up with white cabinets and a black island with marble that was not honed. That was a mistake I will not make again as the marble was a nightmare to maintain. The picture is below:          Currently, I'm designing my new kitchen which is stark white and modern. A complete change from my old kitchen above.  I will post pictures as soon as I've completed the project. This time I'm using white quartz as it's far more durable and easier to take care of than marble.Here are a few links that speak about black vs. white kitchens.
