LA Native, Hillary Newman, the director of business development at Omaze, thought the perfect spot for her to chill out was Venice Beach, the artsy seaside neighborhood that’s home to Muscle Beach and hip Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The first time she walked onto the property she felt like she was in a cabana and loved the balance between the indoor and outdoor living space. That was all she needed to make the discussion to make it her home.

A vintage table from Nickey Kehoe is surrounded by Swedish rosewood-and-leather seating found on Chairish in the dining area. They kept the existing cloud-like pendant light and added a rug by Woven.Leather-topped barstools are pulled up to the island’s waterfall countertop and a photograph by Molly Berman hangs on the wall beyond.
