Diane Keaton's Incredible Bold Brick LA Home

Diane Keaton is one of my all-time favorite designers. Again, she custom-designed this industrial-style, open-concept home herself. It was influenced by New York's San Remo building, a 1930s Beaux-Arts landmark, where she lived in the 1970's. Built in L.A.'s Sullivan Canyon, this indestructible abode is an 8,000-square-foot earthquake-resistant, fireproof rustic-industrial structure that was inspired by The Three Little Pigs. With its rustic wood floors, slabs of raw concrete, 18th-century exposed brick, and antique touches, the house distinctly has a NY vibe. In Diane's new book, The House that Pinterest Built, she explains how the digital tool helped her organize the idea process, and the shareable "pin boards" facilitated good conversations with her team. A lot of the things in Keaton's home comes from flea markets and the Culver City store ObsoleteThis house is incredible!
